Volunteer with M@tE
Frontline midwives in our network reach women in places the formal system cannot. Behind every one of them is a small team of volunteers — clinical, technical, administrative, and creative. There may be a place for you.
Where we need help
We're a small organization punching above our weight. Volunteers fill real gaps — not busywork.
Midwifery educator / trainer
Help develop and/or deliver short trainings for our partners. Background: CNM, CPM, OB, L&D RN, or experienced traditional birth attendant.
Writer / editor
Help us tell the stories of midwives in the network — newsletter pieces, grant narratives, social posts. We'll connect you to the source material; you bring the craft.
Developer / designer
Improvements to the website, and the small data tools we use to track program impact. Light, project-based.
Grants & admin support
Research foundation prospects, draft letters of inquiry, help with reporting and compliance for funders we already work with.
Translator
Help us adapt teaching materials into Burmese, French, Swahili, Spanish, and Arabic. Most asks are short and project-based.
Event support
Logistics for our quarterly network calls and the annual mini-conference. Mostly remote.
