What we do…

App to Track Your Birth Stats
Visit the iOS or Play store and download the Midwife Mobile Stats M@tE app, which provides you a way to log your births digitally.
Collaborate and Communicate
There is a quarterly M@tE network call, and this is where we communicate opportunities for collaboration and serving. Join the network to be notified about upcoming calls.
Add to the Evidence Base
Join the movement to gather data regarding birth at the edges and contribute to our data gathering project.
Connect
Join the M@tE network and start working with other midwives and birth workers to meet the needs that are made known to us. This might mean serving long- or short-term overseas, working on a team to carry out a quantitative or qualitative study on maternal/newborn health, teaching midwifery skills with a few other network members in a faraway land, participating in a podcast, and so much more.
M@tE also serves as a connector of midwives with sending agencies and schools.
Trainings
We host trainings in different parts of the world to help midwives living abroad keep up-to-date and obtain CEUs. Check the “Upcoming Events” page frequently to see if there is a training near you!
M@tE is also involved in teaching and learning from skilled and traditional midwives worldwide and we have multiple projects in process at any given time. If you are interested in volunteering to be on a training team, please contact us.
Access to textbooks offline
Download the M@tE App and have access to midwifery-related information when offline.
